Application Developer I
Prime Health Services, Inc. (PHS) one of the leading Workers' Compensation, Group Health, Auto Liability, Imaging, and IME, PPO companies in the Southeastern US is growing rapidly across the country! Our Information Technology team is seeking candidates who want to join our exciting company based in beautiful Brentwood, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville.
PHS is immediately looking for a full-time IT staff member to for the position of Application Developer I.This entry level position will support multiple existing web applications as well as well as feature enhancement on new development applications for both internal and external clients.
Position Summary: Provide general IT services for PHS including hardware & software support, networking, and some programming experience (preferably in SQL, C#.Net, ASP.Net, and/or XML)
The successful candidate must be experienced in a variety of software architectural and engineering concepts such as services oriented architecture, data modeling, and N-tier development. This candidate also must be proficient in Microsoft.NET Framework and related Microsoft technologies. Experience in relational databases would be a plus.
Experience in the following technologies preferred:
- C# and .NET development
- MS-SQL / SQL Azure
- Web development experience using ASP.NET with C# on the back-end
- AJAX and jQuery
- nHibernate or a similar ORM framework
- Web services and various other “cloud” technologies
The successful candidate will be working with existing Application Developer II and Senior Developers. A 4 year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or other similar area of study preferred. Full benefits including health insurance, 401K, dental.
